==Early life and career==
Faysal Qureshi was born to Abid Qureshi and Afshan Qureshi in Lahore, Pakistan. He began his career as a child artist and appeared in the plays ''Emergency Ward'' and Andhera Ujala for PTV. He made his debut as a television actor in the 1992 film ''Saza''. He acted in many Lollywood films and then began acting in television serials. He first played minor roles in television serials before landing his first lead role as "Boota" in Toba Tek Singh. Faysal has played lead roles in many television serials. He has also directed and produced various television serials. Qureshi has also appeared as a judge on competition shows ''Dum Hai To Entertain Kar'' and ''Nachle''. He also hosted the reality show ''Hero Banney Ki Tarang'' and the morning show ''Muskurati Morning'' on TVOne Global along with Ayesha Khalid. Faysal also played lead role in 2014 drama serial Bashar Momin which is known as Pakistan's most expensive drama serial and was also named as the first Pakistani drama serial to on-air on Indian television channel.
